Methena’s Money-Back Guarantee is our promise of reliability. If our model predicts a high chance of admission—and you follow the recommended steps—but still don’t get in, we’ll refund 100% of your program fees. That’s how committed we are to helping you succeed.
Terms and Conditions
The Money-Back Guarantee is applicable solely to "Guaranteed Admission" schools. A "Guaranteed Admission" school is defined as one where the predicted acceptance rate, as determined by the Methena model, exceeds 85%.
To qualify for the Money-Back Guarantee, the student must participate in all programs recommended by Methena Prescriptive Analytics, and attend at least three essay consultation sessions with our team. The student must also incorporate the feedback and editing suggestions provided by our consultants into their college application essay prior to submission. Failure to follow these requirements will void eligibility for the guarantee.
If all criteria are met and the student is not admitted to the Guaranteed Admission school, Methena will issue a 100% refund for program fees specifically tied to activities run directly by Methena and organized by IEG—no questions asked. Activities not run by Methena or IEG are not covered by the guarantee. It is important to note that Methena will not be held responsible for any damages beyond this refund.
Methena will be considered to have fulfilled its obligation under the Money-Back Guarantee once an acceptance letter from the chosen school, bearing the student’s name, has been received—whether by Methena or directly by the student. After this point, the student waives the right to request a refund of any amount paid to Methena for services or related fees.
